Look Out For A Bird With A Passport
A British tourist has had his passport stolen in New Zealand’s Fiordland region - by a large wild parrot with a reputation for mischief. The passport has not been recovered and, given the 4,600 square mile size of Fiordland's alpine national park, the officer said it was unlikely.
FOOTNOTE: Starred and feathered.

Silly, they should just go to the kiosk at the departure area .. surely the thief was trying to fly the coop
Oh, my...what a problem to have!!! And no one at customs will believe it!!! Sounds like the old, "My dog at my homework," excuse!!! LOL...but also, much sympathy for the poor Brit!! ~Janine
What an interesting story. I'm glad it wasn't me. I wonder what that bird is doing with that passport.
:-)
Perhaps an updated version of the dog ate my homework! ~rick
Hmmm...wonder if that's what happened to my nephew's wallet? He was over there recently and lost his within the first week.
Peace!
I expect he will feel silly reapplying and giving the reason as *parrot stole passport!*
Ha ha! Silly parrot!
That is one story! Poor guy.
I thought that was a magpie's (not a parrot's) job, David! LOL!
Talk about identity theft! You don't suppose that parrot is working for terrorists and filching assorted passports to use in making forged documentation do you?
