Dog Tired

Thereby Hangs A Tail

Photograph copyright: DAVID McMAHON

Some weeks ago we were at a friend's place when their two dogs took a break, away from the noise and hubbub of a large gathering. They were indoors, but I had to get the camera out to shoot a scene of utter togetherness and tranquillity.

Check out the rules at
Camera Critters or go to Misty Dawn.

Fantastic photo. It's a dog's life!

They were still doing their job, though, keeping their eyes and ears locked on the fun.

Don't you wish you could just loll about like that & sleep?
I expect the answer is *no*!

I think I'd like to be out on the porch with them -- except it's triple-digit weather here. Horrid!

Doggies are precious!

The truly must have been dog tired to sit still for that lovely picture, David. Milou is such a ham, I bring out the camera and he poses.
