What About His Dress Sense?
A 49-year-old US man impersonated his dead 77-year-old mother in paperwork - and sometimes in person - for six years, collecting more than $100,000 in her name. Prosecutors said the man sometimes dressed as his mother and, with an accomplice, collected Social Security benefits and city rent subsidies.

Hmm. I've heard more of this crime.
We had a friend (he died 2 years ago), who didn't want his social security money anymore, because he gained back his health. He had been in a process of going and talking with all kinds of people in the system, but it got never resolved. So, at last he sent all his checks (thousands of dollars) back - but then they sent him new ones!
I have a funny suspicion that there are many more like him out there. YUCK. Poor taste. He should have just got a proper job and let her rest in peace.
He's not his mummy either...
I can hear the Psycho music now!
Sometimes...one must simply laugh. I am attending a seminar on Elder Abuse tomorrow. I must tell this story. Something to do with family values methinks.

Impersonating his mother in person?? She must have been rotating in her grave - ugh.
