Trick Or Street
Members of a witches' coven in Britain are claiming religious persecution after they were banned from using a social centre for a Halloween gathering later this year. The Crystal Cauldron group had booked a club for their annual Witches Ball, but were later told it had been blocked by the Roman Catholic church.

OMG How I laughed! They have obviously failed to 'bewitch' the Roman Catholic Church!

Oh, I do like your clever commentary on these news snippets!! "Impossible to spell," indeed! :)
They will have to get on their broomsticks and look for somewhere else!
They must be going through a nasty spell!
Cute post and clever comments. I'm stumped.
spell hahahahaha
Love your sense of humor!
The footnote! Brilliant!
I don't know how you find this stuff. Very funny comment.

I assume that the local RC church still allows the children to dress up on Halloween or do you think that they'll ban that too?

The comments are cracking me up too....
Too busy laughing.

Oh, and I DO love the opening: "There was movement at the station." One of my favorite lines. And so far? All I've read, since now MY HUSBAND has decided the book is his to read. You do believe I'll get to it one day, won't you?
They should have checked their crystal balls first then they might have saved themselves all the "Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble"
Is witchcraft classified as a religion I wonder?
I wonder if they said, "Oh curse it! when they were swept out on their broomsticks"
Glad to see the powers of light winning for a change in these days of Political Correctness!
