Trivia Pur$uit

In Feburary 1982, when the Trivial Pursuit board game was unveiled at the American International Toy Fair in New York City, only a few hundred copies were sold, instead of the expected thousands. But the craze soon caught on. In 1984, a phenomenonal 20 million copies of the game were sold. A quarter of a century on, not only is the game still popular, you can even download a 60-minute free version at TrivialPursuit.com. I've just tried the online version - and it gives you an interesting twist, whereby you can even ``block'' your opponent's answer if you're good enough and fast enough.

I had no idea you could play online...now I know what I can do when I'm stuck at the stadium pretty much all day tomorrow.

Hi Bart-Man,

No, me neither. I just found out when I did a ``backgrounder'' before I posted it. I thought lots of people would enjoy the link.

Cheers

David

Bah, you can't quite play online, it's a download. I played the free trial and it was fun, but you gotta pay for it after an hour of play. Oh well, seemed a bit too good to be true.

Trivial Pursuit had a slow start and now enjoys nearly unsatiable demand, huh? Maybe there is hope for our restaurants after all!?

Hi Bart,

Just realised the same thing. I'm going to have to re-work the post slightly.

Bah, humbug

Exactly, Deborah,

I'm hoping the same formula for success applies to your restaurants as well.

Good luck
