About 24 hours ago, someone notched up the 50,000th page view on this site. And just a few hours before that, my hit counter registered the 30,000th visit. What a memorable day. My very humble thanks to all of you who validated my decision, almost a year ago, to write at least one blogpost every day. It is only ten months since I installed a Site Meter here and it has been fairly busy recently! Thank you, everyone.

Honestly, on days as exhausting as today was, I probably wouldn't post, were it not for the loyal visitors and commentators. They inspire me to at least try, and that feels good, makes me slow down a bit.
P.S.:
Lately my blog doesn't show a new post for a long time, the same when I edit. Has this happened to you also?

Oh wow, congratulations, bonny lad! I really don't understand stats at all - but even I know that's impressive. (But hardly surprising.) Er, that counter I installed, that DOES moniter the amount of visitors I've had to my site, yeah???

Try clearing your cache and your cookies. Let me know if you;re unsure how to do that and I'll tell you how ....
