Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

The conman of Rheims never had any dreams
No hopes and no aspirations
He wagered on teams and sold pyramid schemes
He said they were not aberrations

The conman who sold me the golden gate bridge
now resides in a prison so vicious
that he wishes he'd never clapped eyes on me
nor toyed with a sailor's missus!

*giggle*

I see people clamouring to be invited to take part in a Ponzi scheme. Conmen are here to stay, it seems.

Oh, Ponzi, dear Ponzi
Look what you've done
There isn't a coin on this earth
Any good to anyone!

That was very good! Brought visions of that famous Ponzi scheme immediately to mind. I'm hoping he will have very meager digs to spend the rest of his time thinking about all the people he buried.

Pyramids circles and squares,
Conmen out to take all your shares,
Don't fall for that lavish old scheme,
Giving money to fulfill conman's dream!
