If hellebores were grown with claws
By blokes with jaws that scrape the floors
You could do your chores and find no flaws
Ignoring the spores that flout local laws

No idea about your verse, but the flower is a geranium growing in my greenhouse. Impatiens are somewhat different. Thanks for stopping round today.

Poor poor hellebores!
They are blooming here, in the midst of winter, pushing through the snow. They are called Schneerose "Snow Rose" (Helleborus niger) and a very welcome sight!
