What Kind Of Varmint Is That?
Can you identify this common furry object? It lives in every home. It has a long and distinguished history of service to mankind.
These views (above and below) encompass not one, but two of the same breed, albeit with a difference in colour.
I'm sorry if you thought I was trying to mislead you. Just blame it on a dry sense of humour.
And remember – never throw in the towel.

Recognized the towel straight away, David!
Knew it wasn't one of the furry beasts that plague me! LOL!
I feel like throwing in the trowel...... but that's another story!
You've obviously been influenced by my ironing post!
I recognized it! Yay me.
Ha! Rothko might appreciate your dry wit.
innovative David...!!! like the Rothko comment from Sarah L...
Haha! The first one threw me. Cow (my dog has spots that colour)? Kangaroo?!! ;-)
Love those bath towels!
One of life's little pleasures - changing the colors and feeling them drink up all the moisture.
Thank you for enjoying "Seen in Soho".
We are flying to Dehli and going through Rajehstan.
I'm really excited.
How can I not recognize those....I was hundreds and hundreds throughout the year!!!
Oh, this made me all terry and choked up! Not a dry eye in the house...D
I knew it was a furry towel! LOL! Have a super weekend!
Ah, fluffy goodness. I caught this one straight off, too.
I love towels. I especially love towels warm from the drier. I love the way they smell and the way they feel. I recognized this creature right off as a prime specimen of healthy towel.
I love how you can take everyday objects and make them look so extraordinary.

Great take on the furry theme - fun!
Very funny David... That was a good one...

Donna
This is very well done!
Love your sense of humour and great shots!
That was very funny....you had me going for a moment!!

You're so stinking funny. I was gearing up for a teddy bear until I got to the orange one...
my word verification is "witnes"...
So which varmint dried your sense of humour?
Nice pictures. I love the every day stuff.
First I thought it was another cropping photo. Then I found the colors so matching that I was thinking of art.
Then I saw the last one.
Too funny. I thought the first photo was an image of an incredibly bad faux fur.
Couldn't recognise it until I saw the bales. Very clever. I thought they were maybe fleecy blankets. Love the puns - groaning all the way.
Got it - fun take on the theme. Enjoy your day.
UGH!!!
A really creative take on this week’s theme.
Happy weekend
Reminds me of the riddle -- What gets wetter as it dries?
Ach, David, one could depend on you for an unorthodox angle. Cool.
I picked it was towels! Good one! :)

I didn't guess a towel - I thought it was one of those soft fuzzy throws.
If you have time stop by by photo hunt!

i like the tongue-in-cheek slant u have over many of your photos here. so u've done the reverse bungie in spore. Where else have u been during your short stay here?
Oh at first I did not know what it is in the picture but i know now its a furry towl. Great one David. happy weekend.
Ha! Pretty clever stuff...thanks for the reprive from all the cutes and sweets :-)
I never would have though of a bath towel for the Furry PhotoHunt theme. Very creative.
If you enjoy photo memes, I invite you to come check out Sunday Scenery.
I knew it, hehe ;) Nice furry post, anyway :)
I thought of towels straightaway but figured I must be wrong. But that's what you wanted me to think isn't it? You clever bugger!
Nice twist of the tail. Er, tale. Er... theme.
Clever title too.
Great take on the theme! Wow and haha!
Dry sense of humor -- LOL! Good one.
Interesting take on furry. . .

Happy photohunt!
First thought they were morningcloaks (or whatever you call them in English) then I realised they were towels!
BTW I wish we had some of your heat on this side of the globe! It's freezing cold here right now. Brrrrr
Ah...very clever, David. I like the way YOU use a camera, too! Thanks so much for the visit and kind words. I hope you will visit Pollywog Creek again. Blessings!
You got me! I thought it was moss and the insects were inside of it. That was fun. I would not do well photographing our towels since they are red and that color creates problems for me when photographing.
Love your sense of humor. It sounds like you give everyday a chance.
I'm a little behind- but damn that was funny.
I recognized it right away though-sorry.
Hehe...
