Wolf Whistle. No, Make That A Parrot Whistle

Never Ruffle A Referee’s Feathers

A parrot called Me-Tu has caused chaos at a football match in the UK, imitating the sound of the referee’s whistle before being ordered to move. The referee said: "I've never sent off a parrot before." The parrot also shouted "pretty boy" at the players.

FOOTNOTE: Whistle-stop tour.

Ah well, if he says 'give me a kiss' then well you know somethings just not right ... ;-)

If they were British footballers---it's entirely possible that the parrot was correct in yelling 'pretty boys.'

LOL! Those parrots are mighty tricky characters. My parents had one many moons ago who would imitate some of the people who worked for my parents, and they would hear the workers calling for them... and it would be the parrot! :-)

Sounds like the parrot had had too much to drink. Next he'll be streaking right across the field.

Now that? Is $10,000 just waiting to be won if anybody had a video camera to document the event. What a panic!

Do UK football matches really need more chaos?

If only I could parrot this for the Superbowl; it might make the Cardinals feel like they had the home team advantage. Arizona fans are not sedate.
