Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

In the cavernous shop you could hear a pin drop
When Mister Bumble bent over
He never would stop when it was time for the crop
And the annual harvest of clover

Mr. Bumble was a busy bee wasn't he?

Mr. Bumble Bee was so very clover,
to take his wife on honeymoon
into a field of clover!

The shop itself was so large
And the keeper was so humble
No one knew the one in charge
Was the erstwhile Mr. Bumble

Poor Mister Bumble, bless his heart
Had ony eyes for all this clover
So Mrs Bumble decided to part
And seek a more attentive lover

I'm guessing that when Mr. Bumble bent over
He was looking for a four leaf clover.
To find one means you're a lucky guy!
Too sad looking down means you don't see the sky.
