Hot Cross Burn
German firemen have been branded the worst in the world after their own fire station burned to the ground. All six fire engines were destroyed in the £3 million blaze in Syke and it took 250 firemen from nearby towns to finally bring the inferno under control.

It reminds me of a saying we have here. " The Plummer's wife is always without water"!
I had to laugh at this one, because we had a similar situation in our county...seems while the Fire Dept was having their Christmas Party a few years back, someone left a coffee pot plugged in...yep, burned the little old station to the ground! Party ON!
