Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

"There’s always one catch," growled the frumious bandersnatch.
"Three pirates with a patch ate each cookie in my batch.
Amid slithy toves and shores of sun-kissed coves
They fired up their stoves and used more oaths than Jove’s."

By Jove and by Jupiter
My verse is more stupider,
but I gave it a shot
and good it's not.

Dear Nessa
Your rhyme
Flows with time
I read your words
Over lemon and lime
At least I tried ; )

Hello David. I popped over from Steveroni's blog. You snapped my attention with your last name - same as mine. Read a couple of your posts, will be back. Drop by some time. Zane

Title: No Trouble

K: I fell through that bubble with almost no trouble
J: Catch up to the flock but stay hidden from the jabberwock
K: Those sticks hit my heels before I see their shadows
J: Greet the GOOD-ohs and defeat the BAD-ohs
K: Who walk now among us, a problem, a fungus
J: Mold us together in all kinds of weather.

Great! I like it! "Frumious Bandersnatch" are two of my favorite words.

I probably shall be "whiffling through the tulgy wood" in my dreams tonight. :)

I'll tell you this my friend
My mind I couldn't bend
This subject I can't rhyme
So I guess you win this time

Ha! I love Nessa's response.

"When it's brillig and bright," said one left on the right,

"I could spend all day eating cookies all night"

But the pirates saw double, cos they each had one eye,

"Let them eat cake!" said the bird in the pie.
