This was a double delight for me. Not only was this unusual shape gleaming in the sun, but I also had the added benefit of the ribbon-like shadow as well. It was about one o'clock in the afternoon, so the sun was overhead, hence the shallow angle of the shadow. To my mind, the image is even richer because of the shadow of the parapet in the background. Look carefully at the concrete parapet and you'll see the ``windows'' are rectangles about thirty to thirty-five centimetres high, yet their reflections are so much smaller and almost square.

Lovely photo David. The structure
reminds me of a giant paper clip
unfolded.

Or slinky, perhaps?
oh! oh! ooooh! I haven't explored waves yet. Sometimes it's so inspiring to visit other blogs. Thanks David.
Hi Doug,
Okay, that's my next assignment - looking for one red paper clip now!
Cheers

Hi Carol,
Ah, nice vision. It so looks like a silver slinky.
I didn't think of that when I photographed it; or even when I posted it.
Keep smiling
David
Hi Chewy,
First time for me, too. Confession time: I was more fascinated by the shadows!
Cheers
David
