Stake Your Claim On Technorati

Haven't claimed your blog yet? There are plenty of reasons why you should. Here's how to do it.

How do I register my blog on Technorati?

Go to Technorati.com and follow the simple process to ``claim'' your blog. On the left-hand side of the screen you'll the Technorati logo and a list of the top ten searches. Beneath that you'll see a small green flag with the link Claim My Blog. Either click on the ``claim my blog'' link or the ``start now'' link below it and you'll be directed to a
screen registration process.

If you are already a Technorati member, you can sign in on the right-hand side of the screen; non-members needn't panic - you can join up for free. To claim your blog, you must complete a simple registration process. That's it, you're up and running.

To install Technorati widgets or to find out more about the service, go to Technorati Weblog. There is a significant discussion thread on this subject and other Technorati matters at Blogger Help, where there are some very useful posts from the team of experts and Blog*Stars.

I claimed my blog a few weeks ago. I found my stats:
Authority : 13 · Rank: 381,399

Cool! Only 381,399 blogs to beat until I'm number 1!

Hi Deborah,

Wonderful news. You'd be pleasantly surprised to see how quickly a good blog climbs.

I'm not making a connection here between my own blog and that statement, but my rank was 1,200,000 (yep more than a million) seven months ago.

You'll do it easily!

Cheers

David

David,

I'm guessing you've made huge progress since that ranking.

I also noticed your profile views are over 2000. They were just at 1500 when I first saw your blog at the end of March!

Hi Deborah,

Just lucky, I guess. Maybe there's something about the simplicity of this blog ....

Or maybe it's because I've got good, faithful friends like all of you who look at my work every day.

Great fun, though ....

And while none of us are in this for the rankings, it's nice to get noticed, isn't it!

Cheers

David
