Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

I went to school with Molly Cule
She tinkered around with rocket fuel
She wanted to command a mission through the heavens
Lightyears before Apollo Eleven’s

Molly was a woman before her time. A woman to be admired.

Molly Cute was so much more than her perfect female name!

You just knew it had to be a woman who wanted to go into space before man even dreamt of such, didn't you? After all, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

She invented a fuel with power so vast
It propelled her rocket super fast
As she approached the speed of light
Time slowed right down and gave a her a fright
As she gave the gas pedal even more welly
She was squashed paper thin and was turned to jelly
Then time reversed and she felt much older
And looking back from a mirror was a 'hag' to belold her.
She landed and stepped out onto dry land
And was chased by a lizard who bit off her hand
T Rex was its name with terrible teeth
With scales on its back and huge legs underneath
Einstein was right with his ideas of time
We can never do things like I say in this rhyme.

Got a bit carried away here ~ Eddie
