Heart-Starter

Seriously, It Was A Shock To The System

A Serbian woman has been cured of a deadly heart condition - when she was struck by lightning. Shocked doctors discovered she had made a complete recovery and was saved from death by her rubber soled shoes. The electric jolt put her heartbeat back to normal.

Shocked to the core by that story.
I wonder if a new cure has been discovered? A bit drastic though!

Lucky her, but you can only do this once. A second shock would be revolting.

This is a situation I have been through myself. I got FLUTTER (Atrial fibrillation/flutter is a heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia). It usually involves a rapid heart rate, in which the upper heart chambers (atria) are stimulated to contract in a very disorganized and abnormal manner.) after my transplantation. They tried many procedures for repair the disruption of the normal electrical conduction system of the heart, but at last they had to use electrical cardioversion.
11 years later I am still alive and Life is Great.
