Horse Sense

Rover, Be Careful Of That Clydesdale

A chihuahua has made an amazing recovery in Geelong, Australia after being stepped on by her best mate - a 900kg Clydesdale horse. But she has made a complete recovery. The owner said: "She's had nine lives and it's cost me every time."

FOOTNOTE: Recovery room.

Oh poor thing! I love little chihuahuas!
I guess they are a bit fragile though but so would I be if I was stepped on by a horse!
Hope her friend stops horsing around now.

I hate to say it, but you'd think the chihuahua would still be stuck under the Clydesdale's hoof and everyone would be wondering where the dog is.

When my two Min Pins were alive (about the size of a larger chihauhua), I lived in fear that they would escaped and be run over by a carriage horse! No kidding. Miss T was an escape artist, and I could never leave her alone, even in a fenced yard because she would invaribly open the gate, go under the house by squeezing through a tiny hole in the lattice, or something insane. I'm glad the little guy recuperated. I know about dogs having nine lives after living with Min Pins for close to twenty years! And I miss them every day now that they are chasing chariot horses in Heaven.

I've always heard that horse sense is what keeps horses from betting on people.
