Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

She told him he’d soon sleep with the fishes
If he kept refusing to do the dishes
Now the cops are hunting for a series of clues
After the Mob had him fitted with concrete shoes

Hmm, I read this and I have visions of Al Pacino and Marlon Brando in the Godfather. Very cool! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you have a great day down under!

They dropped him at mid point from high on the bridge
And he fell like a stone with him inside a fidge
He hit the water with such a loud splash
And he sank to the bottom with his purse full of cash
with his coins in his pocket and his heavy feet
He thought of his maker whom he would soon meet
The fish teased him saying he'd had his chips
But he told them he'd eat them prior to his kips
A series of bubbles soon streamed from his mouth
As the angel of death dragged him firmly due south
He said, "I'm a good boy, please let me go north"
The reply was, "of course not, with me you'll come forth
to hell for you did not wash all the dishes
In accordance with your wife's nagging wishes."
