Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

The invitation to supper at the well-heeled Hannagans
Gave no hint of the constant shenanigans
They fought over menus and squabbled over soup
And flicked ice cream with a long-handled scoop

oh an ice cream fight, how delicious. i wonder do they go on like this in front of the guests or save it for behind closed doors, keeping up their persona. hmm...

I really like this one! I myself would've had a heck of a time finding a word to rhyme with shenanigans, but you pulled it off with panache...quite lovely!

Unfortunately there are plenty of Hannigans flicking soup and ice cream about!

Great verse, David. You are certainly on a roll!

Shocking waste of ice cream. Should never be used in a food fight. Tsk, tsk.
