Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

The queen of tarts, she rang Spare Parts
To buy some wheels for her billy carts
But the king did deem, with his eyes a-gleam
That friction should be replaced by steam

Steam would be a great alternative to fix my motorised billy cart. I could bottle it from my CEO's ears when I tell him how much wheels are going to cost.

Could be downgrading to a billy cart in the real sense of the word ....{ponders} wonder if I can fit ten kids on it

This is the one of your short poems I like the most, I like what I understand from it (I might be completelly wrong dough). I like the story, more than a story is a potrait of a moment in time.

The queen of tarts, she thought she was very smart
While changing the wheel herself, she let out a loud fart
But the king did deem, without a steam or scream,
To continue to hold his queen, in the highest esteem

David..haha! I guess the first part is nasty, or digusting, or .. whatever! Sorry, but I had to post what came to my mind. Did I do right?
