Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

My next-door neighbour Mary
Turned her yard into a prairie
She wears cowboy shirts and collars
As she stomps, whoops and hollers

Yippie eye-o, kye-ay
I've had a stampede day
The time just rushes by
without a hoot or hi.

My neighbour cut down my little tree
So I wish I lived next to Ma (e) ry!

She knocked down the fence
And chopped down the trees
Now you can see grass
As far as you please

Cheers!

She said, "I'd love a go
at riding a horse rodeo!"
The horse threw her off
But she'd not had enough
And mounted again with a cough!

She held on so tight the poor lass
And was thrown off the horse on her ass
She whipped the poor nag
Like a half crazy hag
And wiped from her jeans marks of grass.
