Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Columbus declared the Huns were too clannish
And even worse, "they couldn't speak Spanish"
But amidst admiration for the joy of migration
He applauded each nation that conquered inflation

Good grief you've found some magnificent rhymes there. I should probably have a go myself although I'd have a hard time topping that one.
Cheers

Columbus seemed to have got it right years back. Now Obama would applaud any nation that conquered recession!
Superb rhyming.

Bravo!! Applause! Applause! I'd whistle too, but never mastered the two-finger bit, so I'll just flick my Bic. How's that?

While Columbus may have been the boss
he was more than often lost
so even though he didn't like a Hun
I bet he didn't even know where they were from.
