The Name’s Pond, James Pond

Credit Cart Statement For Skinny-Dippers

About 200 Minnesota students decided to celebrate graduation at Concordia College by skinny-dipping in a murky campus pond. A security officer tried to shoo the students out of the pond but they wouldn't co-operate. Police were called after students pushed the security officer's golf cart into the water. Officers said 10 people were identified because they left their clothes and wallets behind. No one was arrested, but several students could face charges for damage to the cart.

Now you're just embarassing me.. (spellings notwithstanding) I knew I should've kept my photo's to myself. I would happily die and go straight to paradise, to caputure an image like that, sigh.

Damn, meant my first comment for the on the board walk post, but I'm sure you'll fathom it out (it's genetic, remember, blond 'an all).

This was in our paper yesterday, and I could only shake my head. What a tradition!

Hi Carol,

Thank you for the kind words about the Muskoka picture.

A two-year-old could have taken that picture. The scene was just there in all its splendour - all I did was take the shot.

By the way, there's no need to go to paradise - just go to Muskoka!

Have a great time at Alan Carr this evening.

Cheers

David

Yes, Shrink,

I worked it out! My kids tell me I have a recessive blond gene as well.

Hmmmmm ......

Hi Stacy,

I couldn't stop laughing at the audacity of it. That and the fact that they were ID'd on the basis of wallets and belongings left behind.

Thanks for dropping by. Take care.

Note to self: Leave wallet at home, not in pants pocket on next skinny dipping excursion. Got it. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Deborah,

Exactly. Got it in one! But if you do so, then we want to read all about it on your blog!

Cheers

Hi David,

I'm a student at Concordia College, actually a fellow journalist, working on a story about this. Would you mind horribly emailing some thoughts to raferrer@cord.edu?

From the story you read, what was your impression of the event?

Was it newsworthy?

etc...

Thanks!
Rick

G'day Rick,

Yes, I'll certainly reply to that by email.

Will do so in the next 24 hours or so.

Cheers

David
