Daylight Robbery

Don’t Bank On It, Buddy

An armed robber in Nova Varos, Serbia, was arrested after he held up a bank, taking tens of thousands of dollars - and returned minutes later (minus his balaclava) to pay off his overdraft. Staff recognised his distinctive trainers and called police.

FOOTNOTE: Cash and carry.

Nondescript clothing. Got it. I think I'm just about ready to rob a bank. The other tips I've picked up from horrid crooks include: not going where they will recognize my voice; making certain my get away car actually runs, has an adequate amount of gas, doesn't have the keys locked in it, and won't be towed off because I parked illegally; don't write the money demand on the back of my own bank draft, deposit slip or rent receipt; don't talk to any one or do any other business in the neighborhood immediately before or after robbing the bank; and last but not least, get a job and forget a life of crime, it's too much work and too much stress!

It's nice to know that other countries have their share of dumb crooks.
