Shedding Their Inhibitions

They Don’t Want To Keep The Doctor Away

A Wiltshire couple who are keen on Doctor Who and are also avid gardeners have combined their hobbies by converting a Tardis into a shed. Philippa Morgan and Declan McSweeney needed a new shed and decided to do "something different" after seeing a replica of the time machine up for auction.

I'm not even a huge fan (although others in my house are) and I would do that. I need a shed.

Ah Doctor Who - wonderful stuff but I'd draw the line at being a fan with memorabelia. I liked your story re Mrs Authorblog and the flight from London to Brussels. I remember the day well as it is my birthday and I watched the royal wedding too although I am not a fan of inherited ruling positions. I prefer to have people voted in - I'm just an old republican at heart even though I've met a few royals through my uncle's position!

Thanks for the post of the day, has Billy come chewing at your ankles yet again?!

Great post David!
I'm thinking that maybe the Tardis would make a really small shed... unless it's like on Doctor Who: when they go inside it's the size of Buckingham Palace! Hell, sod the shed I'll have one to live in! hahaha :D

So is that thing going to be big enough? (Or is it bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside?)

I don't even know what a tardis is.

And all this time I thought Tardi's was a restaurant in the Bronx. Supposedly a Sardi's knockoff though I can't confirm or deny since I've never been to Sardi's.

I laughed out loud on this one...my younger son has requested a new usb hub in the shape of, you guessed it, The Tardis...I even have one hanging on my Christmas tree that he attempted to steal this year...the long arm of the law caught the thief in action, and it now lies safely in the evidence locker (read Christmas Ornament box)...
