Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Yes, she’ll be coming round the mountain when she comes
And she’ll be diving in the fountain while he strums
But her famous six white horses have moved to Royal Ascot
Where five are racing legends and one is just a mascot

Feels like there should be another line at the end, David...
And all the rest are just a load of bums.

Oh David, you sent me googling again. Didn't remember all the lyrics, and they still have no idea who "she" is. The twist you've made on the old song is fun, and I like Moannie's suggestion of a fifth line.

Cheers!

Alternative ending perhaps?

"But her famous six white horses
only race upon the courses
where the jockeys have the best of padded bums".

Sorry if this lowers the tone...

Okay, I was singing right along when the meter changed and I tripped over my tongue...
