Would You Buy A Rare Tree For A Million Bucks?
Scientists in Ivory Coast are trying to sell a rare multi-headed coconut tree for a million dollars. They have yet to find a buyer. Most coconut palms have a single trunk and head - this one has three heads. The palm was imported from Malaysia about 40 years ago.
FOOTNOTE: Palm shun day.

I should COCO-NUTS I'm not.
Visit my Golden Pond.
While I would love to have a three headed palm tree, I looked in my pocket and found that I was ten dollars shy...Mac says they won't live in South Carolina, so I suppose I'll save my money for a rainy day...
I love the song the title of this post is from. I'm going to have it running throughout the rest of my day and I'm happy for that. Thanks!
Interesting shots. The one of the watch is oddly captivating.
No, but I'd do something completely immoral and gay for a million bucks!
Nope!
Ahhh, I love coconut trees, reminds of of the Seychelles where they have a particlar strain where the nut resembles a bare backside (giggle). I'm sure that tree is a snip at the price..
I don't think it would fit in my garden! :(
Where do I send the check? ;-)
Three coconut heads are better than one, I always say.
I'm quite relieved to hear that they are "trying", someone would have to be mad to buy it for that!!
It took me a bit to get the Palm Sunday bit. Duh!
Let me know how the salad turns out.
