Parrot Trooper

Address Sense

When Yosuke the parrot flew out of his cage and got lost, he did exactly what he had been taught - recite his name and address in order to be reunited with his owner. When the African grey parrot was found in the city of Nagareyama, near Tokyo, he kept repeating, "I'm Mr Yosuke Nakamura." He also gave his full home address, right down to the street number.

FOOTNOTE: Whispering street nothings.

Wasn't that amazing? I wish my cat could do that, then she'd be really special, lol.

Fantastic tale. I expect the parrot wasn't fazed by it at all.

I heard about that! What an amazing thing!

My dogs have microchips. I can just imagine them getting lost and then getting waved over the checkout at the grocery ;-)

What brilliant training! Too bad if you move!

That is incredible. For the less clever pet there is always the microchip (poor old Jake has no hope of escape).

Yes, and just like any child, when you want them to repeat the routine for the camera, suddenly they're deaf and dumb...darned kids (parrots)!
