Misfortune Teller

Oh No, Is This Watch Turning Brown?

Swiss watch-makers have teamed up with Indian fortune tellers to design a watch that claims to predict the future. The watch features a bedpan-shaped section which turns brown when dark astral forces are about to strike and will not clear until the bad omens have passed. They will cost about £1,500 each.

Hmmm....takes me back to the Mood Rings of the 70's! Perhaps each watch will arrive with a free Pet Rock also!
Thanks for the info, David!

Reminds me of the Mood Rings that were so popular back in the 1970s...Definitely takes me back in "time." LOL!

That's funny! :-D But having spent some time in Switzerland, I can't imagine they'd be in on this! If the train is 5 seconds late, everyone gets all up in arms!

LOL! How in the world do you find this crazy stuff? :)

I just had to comment because I placed a letterbox yesterday called The Fortune Teller and your post piqued my interest. hehe

ps, I'll post about it later today if you're curiousity is piqued, too. Do you have letterboxing or geocache over there?

It's a bit of a bad omen having to folk out £1500!
I would expect the winning lottery numbers for that.

Blimey it's all a bit vague too - you'd like to know a bit more detail than "something bad's going to happen!"

The image of the bedpan and the colour indicating a bad omen just cracked me up.

My mood-stone ring cost a fraction of the price. I wore it when I worked at Woolworths as a cash-out girl - oh boy, did I HATE that job! My sis' used to tease me my ring was permanently black the whole time I was behind the counter.

"Clockadile Dundee." The bedpan that turn dark when things will be bad is certainly a fitting portent.
