Some great selections - some I've already read and I'm going to check out the others.
David, can I point you in the direction of this brilliant post about staying in touch with old friends

Thank you, David,
for the honour! :-)
I am looking forward to my afternoon coffee break to get lost in your POD winners' blogs.
Thank you for the nomination. I am delighted to get a mention.
Some great ones I've already read. Thanks for more!
I'm familiar with this morning's top selection. Great choice! I will check the rest, because I trust the messenger.
Thanks so much for nominating my post here! I'm off to New York right now, but when I get back I'll be sure to visit everyone's posts.
David, you are such a star - Thank you for all that you do to keep Blogland afloat!
Great selections, as ever. Have a fab weekend!
Wow. I hardly see myself in the same league as other honorees. I'll soak it up tho' and get a bigger cup.
Thank you.
Wow! Thank you so much! And "Get a Bigger Cup" is most definitely worthy a win - great post!!
I'm off the grid (no internet)again this weekend so I saved all of the pages from today's POTD for reading enjoyment. I had already read "Farmer Boy made Good" and can't wait for the next installment to find out about the 20-year courtship. These look like winners to me.
The cat was sick last night, in about ten places, Milou has earache, went grocery shopping on the maddest day of the week when the world and his wife were whizzing round Tescos, my PC would'nt start up and when it did had a hissyfit and closed down on me...and then found this wonderful gift and I am smiling again, Thank you Sir Knight for the honour.
Sir David, what a wonderful gift to receive on the first day of Spring. It was snowing this morning when I left for work.
But that seems to be a distant memory now that I have been selected (humbly speaking) as part of this league of creative writers/bloggers/photographers!
I will echo what Merisi said. What an honor.
It's like getting an "A" by a favorite teacher in college!
Thank you very much, Sir David.
Gosh, thanks David! Such a silly little post, but I guess there's some romance in the story after all.
Hey - thanks for the shout! I think you just made my day. Now I'll have to go read everyone else's and spread the good cheer.
A fabulous set of posts, David! I thoroughly enjoyed all of them...how DO you choose? My head would be spinning with so many on the menu! But thank you! You create a wonderful dining experience with your selection of blogs for the soul!
Thanks for the mention.
Hope your finding the weather to be fine!
Aw thanks David I just saw this!!!
