Fast(er) Food

No Way To Curry Favour

A man desperate for his takeaway smashed his car into an English curry house. The driver put his foot on the wrong pedal and his Mercedes slammed into the front entrance of the Raj Bari in Yarm, Stockton-on-Tees. Police blamed the incident on "driver error" but the man was not arrested.

FOOTNOTE: Mercedes bent.

I'm a bit gullible - I read this and think, is this a joke or is it for real? either way I hope he had some curry while waiting for the police. Courtesy of the drive-in.

Have a great day

If they gave him free curry while he waited for the cops, would that make him a naan-paying customer?

I reckon that's because they all helped themselves to curry & then decided to forget the whole thing!

I doubt he curried any favour with the owner of the take-away.

Any time a story like this hits the news, it seems to be a car driving into a restaurant of some kind. Hmmmm.....a strange cooincidence?? What is it about food that makes people forget which peddle is which! ha-ha
