In Outback pubs
There ain’t no drought
The beer’s in tubs
'Neath barrels of Stout

And might I find Crocodile Dundee sitting at the bar holding court with his tales of derring do? I'd quite like that.

I know where I'm sitting. There's a chair next to the stout with my name ALL over it! I'll be ONE happy camper...

There is an Australian pub
near Vienna's opera,
serving iced beer from the tub,
and many a conserved aria.
(It is all true,
even though
Merisi can't rhyme!)

The Outback Pubs Notice Board!

No need to panic
If there's no water here...
You can get manic
On drinking this beer.

I've never been to an Outback Pub,
But if some day I do,
I would be right happy,
To tip a pint with you.

Tubs of beer? Like bathtubs? Giant plastic containers? What exactly are we talking about?

Actually, David, I almost got fooled and thought that said "draught" instead of "drought", which of course ruins the rhyming!

Not a crime, unless it's a crime to be cute.
