Seeking Lemon Aid

Whaddya Mean, You Ran Out?

A Florida man was charged with wasting police time after he called 911 to complain a Burger King franchise had run out of lemonade. When an officer arrived at the store, a cashier said the customer reportedly became angry and threatened to call police. The cashier told him to "go ahead".

Our Burger King is always out of something when we go there. I haven't heard of anyone calling the police though.

I find this extraordinarily funny as my husband is a Quick Service Restaurant Franchise owner....The customer is ALWAYS right...but sometimes...it's funny to see the odd eaters get their just "desserts." :-)

Sounds as if he was a bit bitter. I don't know where you find these snippets David but I'm glad you do.

Lemonade at Burger King sounds crazy already.

These people also waste the tax payers money. Police officers have to rush there on duty, only to find these ridiculous incidents. No excuse, for such irresponsible behaviour...!

...last week a lady called 911 because Mc D's ran out of chicken nuggets after they took her money. Pathetic with a capital P!

I wouldn't have the patience half these poor guys are expected to display. I mean, c'mon, how could they run out of lemonade? They should just count themselves lucky not to be lynched..

It seems like there are a lot of these types of calls happening in Florida. I wonder if these people are suffering from dementia...
