I have heard of some strange allergies but potatos? that is a new one to me. My son is actually allergic to bananas. LOL

In the school where I work, there are children with many allergies & lots of them carry life saving Epipens.
The commonest is nut allergy with peanut being the worst culprit. Closely followed by egg and dairy products. Then there are others with strange ones like lentils and peas!
So potato allergy would not surprise me!
Obviously a hot potato!
Our Chemistry Teacher was knicknamed, "Spud".
