Trivia Pur$uit

Nevil Shute was one of the best-known Australian novelists of the mid-twentieth century, but he was actually born and raised in Britain, where he started work as an aeronautical engineer. His real name was Nevil Shute Norway and he is best known for the classic Outback novel `A Town Like Alice'.

Hi Rene,

I read the book as a kid and re-read it again as an adult and it still had the same magical effect on me.

I'm sure you could find the movie on DVD ....

Keep smiling

David

Thanks, David. I've added it to my list of other oldies....Flower Drum Song, South Pacific, Judith,...

After being a victim of fraud recently, I'm wary of buying anything online. Someone tried to use my credit card # to purchase a computer recently. The CC company noticed the unusually large amount and called me to confirm before approving, as the address that was provided was also different.
