In The Slow Lane

Putting A Spoke In His Wheel

An Olympic cyclist has been fined £60 by police in Croatia - for pedalling too slow. The rider was accused of holding up traffic during a training run in Bakrac, but said: "We were going faster than most of the cars on the road."

FOOTNOTE: Quick response.

Maybe even in Croatia the town sees it as a way to get some money into the town pot.

I once got fined for running a red light on a bicycle! In both cases, maybe the police were having a slow day.

Clearly the police had nothing better to do OR .. they had bet their money on another biker
