Almighty Row

We Can't Pinpoint The House Of Lords

A US politician's bid to sue God has been thrown out after a judge ruled the suit could not be served because the Almighty has an unlisted address. Nebraska state senator Ernie Chambers sought an injunction but district court judge Marlon Polk ruled that a plaintiff must be able to serve papers on a person for a lawsuit to go ahead.

Is this a current story? I thought I read about this quite some time ago.

Thank God the stupid suit was dealt with by someone with some COMMON SENSE!

I just can't think of anything civil to say about that situation. I agree with expat-mum. The judge showed much good sense.

Peace!

And one wonders why we can't get anybody but idiots{look at current crop} to run for office?

I saw this too! Yippee! That is only the SECOND story I have ever seen before you got it in print. I saw it here.
The thing I objected to was this idiot sought the "permanent injunction" to "prevent the "death, destruction and terrorisation" caused by God."
As far as I am concerned God does not cause these things! Can he prove it is God?

What an idiotic injunction to be sought. Only in the Western World...
(I deliberately hesitate to say "Only in America" because I am quite aware of English idiocy too. )
