All The Snooze That's Fit To Print
Two planes had to circle the Greek island of Lesbos for more than half an hour after an air traffic controller overslept. The pilots made several failed attempts to get in touch with the control tower, which remained silent despite their increasingly urgent messages.

david...I hear Greece is gorgeous, however circling while a traffic controller decides it is time for a siesta? Oh my!

That is just so typically Greek!
When we go we know that all shop, cafe etc opening times and bus arrivals etc are on GMT - Greek Maybe Time.
It's always "ish". So laid back. So relaxed. But I would like to land to start my holiday before the plane runs out of fuel! lol
