Loved Carol's Amish innovations. I highly recommend you click on her links in the post and back read. Excellent writing and a real education (to me anyway).
Moannie's goldilocks story is well deserved!
I know I may be biased and I have heard the story a zillion times....but the resilience and courage of the child shines through, her hopes and dreams never completely quashed, by the cruel nuns, the inappropriate laughter of others, the ditsy mother, terrible step father, (no doubt you will hear about him if she can bear it)...perhaps an example of the nature of the woman as there was little evidence of nuture...
big hugs and respect Moannie
Ooh! Thanks David!!! You're a sweetie!
I am so honored to be a part of this! I have read so many wonderful posts because of your nominations, and have found marvelous blogs that I read daily. Thank you so much, David!
crazycath...I'm glad you read the links. It really explains everything! Thank you!!
All being terrific, Mill. Housewife had me laughing so hard I had to rest my head on the keyboard...great choices as usual...and Mushy took me back to the bad old 60's and Pink Floyd...Moannies whale tale had me smiling...such wonderful reading material to keep me through my third cup of coffee...fully leaded, not decaf!
Sandi

Thanks for sending a couple of real nice ladies (Carol and Sandi) over my way! I enjoyed them as well.
I suppose we Americans are a bit concerned about our finances these days...especially us that depend on our portfolios for retirement!
