That's a lovely surprise, david. Thank you. several people have told me that it isn't exactly wordless (Wordless Wednesday) but I do have trouble shutting up sometimes. LOL
Much try & visit the others now.

That should be David with a capital "D" and MUST not much! Sound a bit drunk! But I'm not!

Oh Suzanne and Joan's post were very worthy winners. Wonderful, both of them, and so well told.

This is so exciting! Suzanne's post has been one of my favorites since my early blogging days. (Which are not so long.) It is the post that sticks in my head more than any other I've ever read.

Well, back from the safari and my sides hurt from either laughing till the dry heaves brought me back or crying like my heart would break...and it actually did for a second in the cornfield...great choices...but as in the line of a song, I've come to expect it from you...

Suzanne's "Life and Death in a Cornfield" was nominated in July by some one and I am so glad you picked it again. It is timeless and powerful. As powerful now as it was when I first read and oh! just what I need now. It smells and tastes of hope. Thank you. It is a fantastic post.

As are the others. As always. ;0)

(What is it with verification making words today? On here I have "rosies"!)

David, me again...wanted to nominate Kari at http://grannyskywalker.blogspot.com/ for her post of "Sarah Palin...tougher than she should ever have to be"... it's thought provoking and backed up by facts not conjecture.

May I recommend Lime's 55 meme called Autumn for a post of the day?

Oh thank you so much David! I had so many people coming to my site and I didn't know why. Thanks for the mention. Maybe Congress will grant the Delta Queen some kind of historical exemption and allow her to keep sailing.

What a nice surprise, thank you. I don't know how you find the time to read all our offerings.

I would like to nominate for your next blogoff awards the blog titled Linda Letters. Linda is up in Seattle, Washington and she did a great article on why true patriotic Americans have always paid taxes to the government for services individual Americans couldn't possibly finance and maintain. She wrote it for October 23, 2008. I hope you consider it for a future Sunday award.
