Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Pity the weak will of Lord Arthur Jennison
Who ate an extra plate of roast-gravy venison
It gave him a relapse of a bout of gout
Now there are odds on when they'll carry him out

For shame on the Lord for partaking of fawn...I predict that he'll be carried off by dawn...

Oh come on David, you know Fawn and Dawn..the Frankenstein twins? Gout indeed!

Roast venison is a trifle too rich
For a man with gout, chuck it into the ditch.
It is a great pity to kill a wee deer
And his punishment now means his end is near.

Oh that extra plate made him ill,
he really is going to go downhill.
You would think a man who had gout
would be smarter when eating out.
