Good writing, I was once told, is that which stands the test of time. By that yardstick, I guess Mike Cook's post
On Sons, Time And Love has a relevance beyond geographical and cultural boundaries. Others that caught my eye today were Michal's post
There Were Never Such Devoted Sisters, Peter Miller's post
K Is For Ketchikan, Poseidon’s Muse's post
The Bloke From Sydney and Ali's rollickin post
London: Day 1.

Hi David! Thanks for the link - and the comments! The "Bloke" limerick is quite a hit...(way to go!)...
Ooo thanks for directing me to these! Great stuff!
BTW, I've put part of my last writing assignment on my blog. I like this piece more than any I've written. If you get a spare mo', have a look!
Believe it or not David when I first read this post I missed your mention of my post, my only excuse is that I was still happily feeling the delightful affects of the drugs used in a medical procedure that was done the previous day. Belated thanks for the mention.
Mike
