Sometimes you read a book or an essay or a blogpost that transcends anything else that writer has done before. Join me in saluting that gifted chronicler Mushy, whose post
Bursting Bubbles tells us about a variety of issues faced by a generation that was changed by the Vietnam War. Among my other favourite posts today were Lin's
Roll Out The Barrel, Singleton's
Peace, Love And Here's My Phone Number, Victorya's
The Truth Is Out There and Indicaspecies'
Guns 'N' Roses.

How exciting, I recognise and know most of these dear friends - thanks for nudging me towards them, I'm off now for a gentle browse.
Thanks for visiting my blog, David. Am really enjoying reading yours--and seeing the great photographs. Especially like the moon shot further down the page. Your blog is now on my favorites list so I can revisit.
Thanks David from sending me new friends! How wonderful.
Mushy's post was magnificent, wasn't it? Before reading your blog today, I had visited his. My comment on his blog echoed yours. I think it is the best thing he has ever written.
I LOVE Mushy's travels back in time as well. I am so glad that he has the finesse and desire to chronicle that history from the ground view. A few of his contemporaries and links do an excellent job as well. My only regret is that blogs were not available following WW2.
David,
What a pleasant surprise! Thank you very much, once again, and I feel both humbled and honoured.
These surprises are highly motivating and inspire me to do better each time. Your commitment to encourage others has such a positive effect radiating in all directions.
Shukriya. :)
