Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.
And the question is: As a child, did you ever consider running away from home?
No sir! My parents were almost like hippies, not like regular traditional Indian parents at all. We kids made rules, lived by it and that worked very well, never strayed out of line. My dad is a fun guy, home was good, so never thought of running away. Hope you are having a great Sunday there in Down under!:))
lol, i threatened to so often my parents one day sat me on the counter and said , 'that's ok, we'll run away for you. you stay here at the house so we know you are safe and we will go find a new place to live.' then they started out the door. i became hysterical and they came back and told me never to make the thereat again.
Hi David, Nice question, but I did not thought of it :-) . My parents are GOD to me and I love them very much, can never thought of leaving them in childhood. When I left home for higher studies they were in a state of shock.

Hi David
The short answer to that one is no. I had a happy childhood and enjoyed being at home. Life was fun and there was so much we did as a family

I never threatened to runaway or even considered it...too much of a rule follower I guess!! or just had a happy childhood!
I didn't just consider it, I did!
