David -I don't know if in your blog travels you've checked in on "A Twist of Humor" (click into his sight from my blog if you have a chance) but his return to blogging post today is absolutely awesome. Just wanted to give you a head's up in case you've never seen his place before.
Keep doing the great posts you've been doing and passing on advice to us as you go too. Love it!

A boost in the rankings . . . Cheers.

The plan is to tooth and claw my way back into the top 10!

David,
I always start reading your Awards post from the honourable mentions to Wildcards (what? My name not there? Hope? Or dropped entirely? Heartbeat rising!). Then I look immediately at no. 47: Nobody's Friend? Congratulations, that's a great spot to be in! 46? Karoline! Congratulations here too! Been there last week, loved it. Truth is, my heart is sinking. Well, not entirely. I had fun, another week of winging it (me, a blogger? natch!) and, would you believe it, visitors who left incredibly generous comments. My little picture book, er, blog give me back much more than I could ever put in (who's in charge of time up there, I ask?). Sorry, I digress. Yes, heart still beating. A glance at number 45: Merisi! Now my heart stops. Wow. David. Amazing. Thank you (takes a sip of water).

I don't know, how you do it, but I sure know I am really grateful for your encouragement. I never ever expected something like that when I started out, me who didn't even know what blogging meant.

Dankeschön from Vienna,
Merisi

Wey-hey, I'm creeping back up there again - amazing! (I sometimes wonder if you've mixed me up with any other Carol Cooper's out there, it is a very common name when all is said and done, but I don't want to push my luck by exploring that one too deeply.) Saturday simply wouldn't be the same without Aussiejourno's Weekly Blog Awards to peek in to - I cannot even begin to imagine how much hard work you must put in to this. It is enormously appreceiated by all of us, David - hats off to you, my friend. Oh, and thank you (smile).

David - we should forget browsing and just make this our homepage as you have links to such a phenomenal list of informative and entertaining bloggers. There's truly something for everyone in 'David's Bag'.

Thank you once again for the endorsement, it means so much. x

Hi David - I think what you are doing is brillant!

I think its a really great thing you are doing by taking the time to notice bloggers. That's how people are noticed and at least once in your life it does feel great to be noticed..

And thanks again for stopping by more than once! Your history is intriguing for sure.

Just come across you from Photo Hunt, good to see you giving fellow bloggers a bit of a leg up, I do the same thing every now and then but not to the scale you do.
Nice photos by the way.

Cheers Mark

Thank you much for stopping by and commenting in my blog. As you can see, I do love balconies! And since my city boasts quite a collection of them, I'm loving showing them.

I look forward to seeing your balcony pictures from around the world.

I found you through Mrs. Nesbitt...I'm planning on joining her ABC Wednesday. I'm a free-lance photographer with a photoblog that's hardly taken off the ground. The blog linked here is the one getting most of my attention...I'd love for you to check it out, and I'd love to hear more about your mentoring.

Thanks!

Hi Nap Warden,

Blog mentoring is not a formal thing I do - it's just a process by which bloggers can contact me for advice on writing, photography, graphic presentation and the editorial package that is blogging.

That just happens to be my background, so I am more than happy to act as a mentor to anyone who asks.

Do keep in touch
