Baaa-aaad News

Pulling The Wool Over Their Eyes

German police are trying to trace the owner of a sheep which outran police patrol cars and beat up a police dog. Police in the northern village of Guester say the sheep ran through the streets of the town at more than 30mph. It reportedly leapt over the bonnets of police cars used as a roadblock and even chased off pursuing police dogs with a few well aimed head butts. Officers eventually caught up with it after it jumped into a field and started eating the grass.

FOOTNOTE: Who's sheepish now?

Someone has to have been feeding that sheep on something really hinky, and it must have taken some training to get it to do that - maybe it should be auditioning for the movies - next instalment of Babe maybe!!

Hmm. As a fellow Aries I'm siding with the sheep!

(A sheep can run 30mph, eh?)

*rofl*
That sheep must have been very hungry! I wonder if it gets fined not being as stupid as it was supposed to be. I can't believe that the police set up a road block for a sheep. Have they no real criminals to take care of? *stern look*

HAd the sheep fleeced somebody, I could better understand the police chasing it.

I keep telling everyone that sheep aren't as stupid as they look.

My husband and I went on a weekend-vacation to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary several months late. My father-in-law came out as we were leaving to tell me to just forget about the farm, leave it all behind me, otherwise I wouldn't have a good time. That didn't last long, we received a phone call and were informed that my in-laws were going to lock up all our sheep and never let them out again. After we returned home, we received many copies of a newspaper photo of our sheep walking down the road as big as you please. Yeah, we were a bit embarrassed. Oh, and my poor over-anxious male Border Collie (Tag) could tell you that being on the receiving end of those charging sheep-heads is NOT fun!
