Isn't it supposed to be the view from the balcony?

the view OF the balcony is grand! of course this is from a lover of architecture!

Interesting study in contrast!

Hmmm. Not what I'd thought of as a balcony view. Although technically, you are absolutely correct of course.

I love the symmetry and uniformity in this shot, but have to admit to preferring the view OVER the balcony (whilst appreciating the art of the stonework later lol).
Unless the view was THAT bad...

David, I can't take credit for the photo of the crane accident. It's from the New York Times... Your "balcony view" is a good one and funny! Ha! I will have a new photo up tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday on Wednesday! Ha!

David, I imagine this is the best balcony photo in all of Singapore. Beautiful. God bless.

Hi David - re - photos on my blog - thanks for trying.
Daryl suggested photoshop was in heavy use and I think (sure!) she's right. I didn't mean for you to go to a lot of trouble - just off the top of your head you may have recognised the shots as they have been around the web a bit. You being a human encyclopedia an' all y'know! ;0)
Thanks anyway.

I am wordless. But~what you see is what you get and they are not getting much apparently. Crazy

The teal color in this photo is stunning David.

Clever, and gorgeous, and the color is beautiful. But I like looking at beautiful buildings as much as I enjoy looking at the views from them.

I like it.

David - thanks for the plug - only just caught up. Serious multitasking this week. Lovely shot, btw.

The post I'm doing at the moment has touched on the issue of photographers being issued with street licences in the Uk - feel I've tapped into a real can of worms with this one.

I can't tell up from down

Two of my daughters went to Barcelona September before last. One of them took about 100 pictures of balconies. Really.

(Think she takes after mom? Wonder what she would do with barns.)

I think it's crown molding :)

Dav,with only the balcony structure I can't tell where in Singapore. Cause lots of places have those balcony design.
But still I'll like to guess it's in Sentosa?

I got played out by a friend who was suppose to attend the Petronas GP with me at KL! *tears.my.hair.out*

Beautiful. I love the colour of the wall so much that I think I might have to 'colour pick' it for a future photoshop creation. Thanks!

It's a very neat picture, 'of' or 'from'.

Happy WW!

Love the colours, the symmetry, the architecture, the repetition ~ there's amazingly a lot to appreciate in a simple picture of a balcony railing!!

Now this is wordless. I, on the other hand, being rendered speechless, ended up being rather wordy. Go figure.
