Happy Hour

Followed By Another Happy Hour, And Another

Funny how pina coladas are synonymous with beach holidays, don't you think?

If you jump on a plane right now, there's still time for you to get to Langkawi so we can down a few cocktails together. Let me tell you that Mrs Authorblog and I have spent time at some of the world's top beach resorts - and it's very hard to beat the Sheraton Langkawi. It's not just a great hotel, but the friendliness of the staff is the icing on the cake.

That, and the speed at which pina coladas are delivered. Come on down!

With the temp in the mid 90's the past couple of days, your offer is mighty tempting. Short of going there myself, I'll simply ask you to enjoy one for me. I somehow don't think I'll have to twist your arm too hard.

Safe travels David.

I don't like Pina Colada's or alcohol in general, but that still looks yummy.

Drink looks yummy. I have to say though, back in my travelling days I never drank pretty drinks. I was happy for a can of pop. Not so refined, I'm afraid.

So folks, how many of these did David put down? I put the over/under at a dozen.

Oh I so wish I could! Sounds idyllic.
And great service / accommodation IS the icing on the cake of a great holiday.

I'm just chuckling wondering what the reaction would be (from hotel staff and Mrs. Authorblog) if 300 bloggers suddenly descended on your family holiday.... *grin*

Have a drink for me (and I'll have a brew for you. ;0) )

Sounds like heaven, but for a preference, mine would be a mudslide in Grand Cayman watching the sunset!

"the speed at which pina coladas are delivered".........that comment cracked me up. Hi David, It was a pleasure and an honor to have you visit my humble blog. I have a dear blogging friend from Australia and she just sent me some vegemite. I haven't yet had the nerve to try it. :) I am a big tennis fan having played for 30 yrs. Two months ago I pulled a hamstring which pretty much threw me off the courts for who knows how long. Anyway...my point is one of my dreams is to visit all the tennis opens. I have been to the U.S. Open in New York and to the French Open. Next on my list is the Australian Open. Sigh...maybe some day soon. Enjoy your vacation and stop by for a visit any old time. ~ Lynn
