Hiss And Hers

Pointing out stories you may have missed. A snake and his owners have been reunited after the missing reptile was found in the glove box of a rental car. Sammy, a 1.3m red-tailed boa constrictor, disappeared two weeks ago after his owners left him in the car while they went into a video store. They concluded Sammy had been stolen, even though their other belongings had not been touched. They returned the car and someone else rented it, but obviously did not open the glove box. Only after he returned the car did a Budget Rental staff member discover the boa. Animal Control experts were called in and had to rip apart the dashboard to rescue the snake. This was obviously a case of a boa, constricted.

What an endless font of amusing nuggets you find! Wonder if the Boa's dad had to pay for the damage?

Hi Shrink,

As soon as I saw this story I knew I had to post it. I can't believe the snake went undetected while the next renter had the vehicle!
